Meet our Staff

Jacki Jones

Jacki has been an ABO certified optician since 1982. She moved here from South Dakota and has been with Westonka Vision Center since the day it opened in 1986. Jacki loves what she does and will always have a smile on her face when you walk in the door. Jacki is also responsible for all the frame purchasing and has a great sense of style. Constantly staying on top of all the latest lens technologies and coatings available is also something very important to her.

Jacki has been married to her husband George, who is a realtor in the area, for more than 25 years. They have one daughter, Carrie, who graduated from UMD in the spring of 2011.

Jacki loves to travel, try new restaurants, gourmet cooking, and spending time on Lake Minnetonka with friends and family.

 

Shirley Bull

Shirley has been in the optical business since 1974 and has worked with Dr. Rottach since 1980. She works in all areas of the office except doing the eye exam; she leaves that to Dr. Rottach. Shirley is our resident computer expert and also assists Dr. Rottach with contact lens patients. She is an excellent optician and assists patients in frame styling, frame repairs and adjustments.

Shirley has been married to her husband, Bill for 40 years. They have two married sons and seven grandchildren.

Shirley enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her family when she is not at work.

 

Jocelyn Wenzel

Jocelyn has worked with Dr. Rottach since 1989. She does many of the advanced diagnostic tests for glaucoma and other eye diseases as well as pre-testing patients before they see Dr. Rottach.  Jocelyn also works with patients doing insertion and removal training of contact lenses.

Jocelyn lives in St. Bonifacius with her husband Mark and has two married children and three granddaughters.

During her time off, she enjoys babysitting, reading and loves to dance.

 

Sarah Olson

Sarah has worked with Dr. Rottach since 2003 and brings many years of customer service experience from retail management and front desk positions. She is always upbeat and meets and greets you with a smile, be it in person or on the telephone. She has many office responsibilities, one of which is recall coordinator where Sarah sends out the monthly reminder cards.

She has been married to Greg since 1987, has 2 sons and lives in Watertown.

Sarah loves walking, spending time with family and friends and enjoys doing projects around her home.

 

Lori Emerick

Lori is the billing coordinator for Westonka Vision Center. She has worked 20+ years in billing and finance handling claims processing with over 100 insurance companies in various areas of the health care industry. Lori cares about the patient first and works with the insurance companies to get the most out of their eye care coverage.

She belongs to Post #398 women’s Auxiliary and donates time and baked goods for  various fund raisers in the community throughout the year, and submits articles and  pictures regarding Post #398 activities to local newspapers. She and her husband Bryan, enjoy the outdoors, hiking and biking. Lori loves to cook and try different ethnic recipes and spending time with their sons and grandchildren.
